On Saturday 20th June, thousands gathered once again on Liverpool's iconic waterfront to celebrate not only another fantastic weekend of live music, but the 10th anniversary of the show that has defined what an orchestral dance music event could be. With the stunning backdrop of the Three Graces, unforgettable performances and a party that only Liverpool can create, Cream Classical 2026 was a fitting celebration of everything the event has become over the last decade. The anniversary show featured the amazing Kaleidoscope Orchestra and Sense of Sound choir alongside legendary vocalists including special appearances from Alison Limerick, Robin S, Julie McKnight, Saffron (N-Joi) and Bobbi Depasois, bringing some of dance music's most iconic anthems and voices to Liverpool's waterfront in spectacular fashion.

When Cream Classical first premiered ten years ago, it was a bold idea. Taking the biggest club classics from Cream's legendary catalogue and performing them with a full orchestra could have been a one year only and limited edition experience. Instead, it became something much bigger than Cream's and Ameritz expectations. The combination of world-famous dance tracks, orchestral arrangements, stunning locations and an iconic Cream festival atmosphere struck a chord with dance music audiences all across the UK, some even coming from abroad to experience it in person. Almost immediately, the first year turned the event into an annual highlight that became synonymous with the lineup of Cream festivals and events.

Over the years, the production has grown in both scale and ambition. Every edition has found new ways to raise the bar, from expanded orchestral performances and live vocalists to breathtaking visuals, production and locations that transforms places like the Liverpool Catedral and Pier Head into one of the UK's most unique outdoor live music spaces. The 10th anniversary felt like the culmination of that journey and everyone’s hard work and drive to see this live concept succeed.

For everyone at Ameritz, this year's event was especially meaningful.

Having worked alongside Cream throughout the show's evolution, we've been proud to support its journey behind the scenes over the past decade. From production and organisation to coordinating every detail of an event on this scale, it has been an incredible experience to help bring an ambitious vision to life and watch it grow into one of Liverpool's most celebrated live music experiences. We're immensely proud of this long-standing partnership, which reflects our shared commitment and vision to delivering unforgettable events with one of the UK's most recognisable dance brands.

Of course, none of it would be possible without the incredible team behind the scenes. From the stage management teams, musicians, vocalists and performers to the sound, lighting and visual technicians, alongside the dedicated crews working with Cream, every person plays such an important role in bringing the production to life.

As the final fireworks lit up Liverpool's waterfront and thousands of fans made their way home, it was a privilege to once again celebrate another unforgettable show alongside the people who make it all happen. After ten remarkable years, one thing is certain, Cream Classical shows no signs of slowing down, and we're proud to continue being part of its story.

Here's to the first decade, thank you all for being part of this incredible journey with us and we'll see you all at the front at the next show!
