A New Chapter for Mellotron Begins

There's plenty happening behind the scenes at Ameritz Music this year, and one of the most exciting developments has been the return of our sister label, Mellotron.

After a busy few years, Mellotron is back in full swing with a fresh wave of artist signings, welcoming both long-time collaborators and exciting new talent to the label family.

Launched in 2018, Mellotron was created as a go to place for stunning instrumental music, specialising in lo-fi, ambient, modern classical, contemporary piano and even jazz releases. Since then, it has grown into a catalogue filled to the brim with calming soundscapes, intimate piano performances and music designed for focus, relaxation and everyday listening. Whether you're working, studying or simply taking a moment to unwind, Mellotron has become a destination for listeners looking for a wide variety of music to choose from.

Martin Jacoby has been a mainstay of our Mellotron sub-label.

Leading the label from the very beginning has been our brilliant Label Manager, Beth, who, with our team of promotion and graphic designers, has helped shape Mellotron into what it is today. The label has enjoyed some incredible milestones over the years, including surpassing 160 million collective streams in a single year across its roster of artists, a huge achievement that reflects both the quality of the music and the appetite for beautiful instrumental music.

Now, Mellotron enters its next chapter with a fantastic lineup of artists joining the family. New and upcoming releases include music from Franco Robert, skyswimming, Chris Snelling, Living Room, and long-time collaborator with Ameritz, Martin Jacoby, with even more artists and projects waiting in the wings.

Luke Faulkner has seen his single 'Clouds' receive streaming success and success with Mellotron.
